We've created the social event page, and here are the neat & tidy instructions for both the (athletes) and any/all (friends & family), below:
For Athletes:
1. Join (it's recommended to use Facebook to join if you have an account)

Click start list
Search & Click on your name
Click: "This is my result"( in grey text towards bottom)
To Follow an Athlete and receive free Text Message & Email notifications

Click Start List
2. Search & Click on any athlete
Click: Über Follow, in order to get text message & email results on race day
3. Repeat for any and all athletes you want to follow
