The Regional Championships will serve as qualifiers into the 12th annual Nike Cross Nationals event, scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, OR. In the Championship Race the Top Two Teams and Top 5 Individuals will automatically qualify, and the 3rd and 4th place teams will be considered for an At Large berth.

Registration (3:30 pm – 7:00 pm November 20)

Registration will begin at 3:30 pm Friday, Grande Sports Academy. Packets will be picked up by either name or club name. Please check to see that your bib and timing chip are included.     

Packets can also be picked up at the race site, Grande Sports Academy, beginning at 7:00 am Saturday morning. 

Don’t miss T-Shirt Exchange Friday November 20 at 5:40 pm!! (Bring your favorite T-Shirt from your school or club).

USATF Card:   It is recommended that you have a current USATF card. If you do not have one, you may purchase one at the USATF web site, www.usatf.org (Applies to states that require USATF#)

Competitor Numbers are to be worn on the Front only. Shirts must be worn.

Spikes will be permitted on the golf course. (No Longer than ¼)

The uniform and jewelry rule will not be enforced. It is encouraged that teams wear a club uniform.


We will not be using a finish chute at the finish line. A back up sensor line will be in place.                 

Milliseconds Timing will be in charge of timing. All races will be timed using a timing chip within the bib.  

Please follow these simple instructions carefully. Not wearing the Bib properly may prevent you from being timed.

*  Bibs are non- transferable!! Be careful not to switch with friends, teammates, family etc.
*  Bibs are to be worn on the front only.
*  Make sure you cross the timing points at the start, intervals, and finish of the race.
*  No  need to turn in Bib or chip.


General Instructions
The course will be marked with flagging and cones. Runners are to stay between the orange cones. Runners are asked to run thru the finish line and continue moving to prevent congestion at finish line. Course is 90% grass. 

Athlete Changes
You can make changes the day of the race, but must be completed by 7:15 am Saturday morning.

Trainers will be available. Water will be available.

Parking will be available at Grande Sports Complex. Please follow signs. 

Team Camps
Team Camps may be set up south of the finish line on the practice soccer field. Please clean up your camp area before leaving. Please do not walk on Greens or Sand Traps. 

Results will be posted within 15 minutes after the last competitor completes the race. For the Championship Race, results will not be posted until after the awards ceremony to add to the suspense.
Results will be posted on the side of the Results Tent during the meet.
Final results, with mile splits, will be posted on the following websites:

The top 10 finishers in the Open Race will receive Award Shirts at the Awards ceremony.
The top two teams from the Open Race will receive trophies at the awards ceremony.
Awards for the Championship Race will be awarded after the Championship Race.

The top 4 Teams and top 5 Individuals in the Championship Race
will need to register for Nationals.

These teams and Individuals will need to report to the National Qualifying tent
immediately after the awards.
