TEMPE, Ariz. - The Fort Collins High School girls cross country team won a Class 5A state championship last month.

Saturday, the Lambkins added another title by winning the 20-team Southwest Nike Cross Nationals regional meet. The victory qualified them for the national championships Dec. 6 in Portland, Ore.

"We're all really excited," Fort Collins coach Chris Suppes said. "We're excited to go on to nationals and represent Fort Collins High School and see what we can do."
